(WED) World environment day is celebrated every year on this
date of 5th june. World Environment day is celebrated to raise global awareness
and to have a positive environmental action for this globe where we human being
are living.
World environment day is run by the UNEP - United Nations
Environment Progamme. United Nations
Conference on Human Environment was from 5 to 16th June 1972 and it was first
established by the UN General assembly in the year 1973.
WED is hosted every year. The first World Environment Day
was on 1973. WED is hosted every year by different theme.

UNEP defines a Green Economy as 'one that results in
improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing
environmental risks and ecological scarcities.'
This year on World Environment Day 2012 it is completing a
