Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti or Gandhi Jayanti which is observed every year on this day and considered as a National holiday in India. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated across India since October 2 is a birthday of India Father of Nation - Mohandas karamchandas Gandhi. This year is 143rd anniversary which will be celebrated across India
